Emily Sullivan Sanford was born with achondroplasia, the most common type of dwarfism. For over 15 years she has been speaking and teaching workshops about diversity and difference in pre-schools, high schools and universities. Her writing has been published by Feministing and Johns Hopkins University Press. She lives with her husband in Berlin.
